"No, everyone is born Christian. Only later in life do people choose to stray from Jesus and worship satan instead. Atheists have the greatest "cover" of all, they insist they believe in no god yet most polls done and the latest research indicates that they are actually a different sect of Muslims." CARM.ORG

Few things would truly "shock" me about the remaining days of the Bush administration...

Tuesday, December 16, 2008

However, this would. The BBC is reporting that the now famous "shoe thrower" has been beaten by the US military.

Muntadar al-Zaidi has suffered a broken hand, broken ribs and internal bleeding, as well as an eye injury, his older brother, Dargham, told the BBC.

If the US is in fact "torturing" the man who has become such a huge icon in the middle east, we are all truly fucked. The ramifications of this would be disastrous. It has already been widely discussed that the US position on torture in general has caused more harm to the US than anything else to date by causing more and more angry people to sign up to fight against us. If this turns out to be true, there will be very little that could be done to calm this rage against us. ...Maybe this will turn out to be false...
