"Last night in a gathering of educated professional women ranting about Sarah Palin, I learned about a brilliant email campaign I had missed. An email has been circulating asking everyone to donate to planned parenthood in honor of Sarah Palin. The response so far has inundated the McCain campaign with thank you cards (when you make a gift in honor of someone, Planned Parenthood will send that person a thank you card indicating a gift has been made in their name) and has raised in excess of $700,000 for Planned Parenthood. I think we need to keep this going! A small way to express our outrage and help a great cause! (And it is, of course, tax deductable)


So, go to http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ and select the option to make a donation in honor of someone, then insert Aunt Sarah's name. The address for the thank you card is: John McCain 2008, P.O. Box 16118, Arlington, VA 22215 (apparently she is not to be trusted with her own mailbox). You can donate as little as $5.00. Then forward this email to every thinking woman you know.
